Gin Dunscombe MA works independently as a coach, mentor and facilitator to individuals, teams, organisations and whole systems in the public, not-for-profit and private sectors through the practice she founded twenty five years ago. Formerly Head of the Lewisham Culture & Urban Development Commission, enabling the borough to be a Creative City, she has worked for many years on issues of organisational and individual change. As Head of Organisational Development for Lewisham Regeneration she managed a culture change resulting from a merger of 14 businesses.

Her varied career ranges from ten years in the building industry as a carpenter to development work with high performance teams.  She has designed and delivered an extensive set of workshops and trainings, from effective priority management to modelling creativity and innovation. She has tutored on several university programmes including a Postgraduate Certificate in Management programme. She facilitates organisational interventions through Action Learning Sets and Team Development workshops and events, Open Space and Future Search.

Gin Dunscombe is a Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and an accredited member of the NLP Global Training and Consultancy network. A member of the IPD, she is a certified Myers-Briggs Type Indicator user.

She was for many years the UNICEF UK Mentor for Directors and Managers and facilitator of their Action Learning programme, and has provided development coaching and mentoring to more than six hundred individuals at all levels in a wide range of organisational contexts.

A former trustee of Contemporary British Art, she is currently inspired by falconers everywhere, the Five Rhythms dance work of Gabrielle Roth, the books of W.G.Sebald and the music of Wasis Diop, Tracy Chapman and Soweto Kinch. A firm believer in Life-Work Balance, on which she has run many workshops, in September 2013 she completed her MA (Fine Art) at Camberwell College of Arts.
